Lodge - Labyrinths - 2-night trip

Enjoy this gentle introduction into positive solitude and nature. Use your newfound eco-therapy skills to rebuild an authentic connection with yourself. Explore nature at your own pace, retreating to your cabin when you need or want to. Daily eco-therapy activities offered during the silence retreat portion. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to share once a day in community at a meal around the fire.

Dates:

·       Friday, March 21st evening - Sunday, March 23rd at Narrow Lake, AB

·       Post-trip Celebration evening in Edmonton, AB

Additional unique features of THIS trip only, Labyrinths:

·       Learn about the history and meaning of Celtic and Medieval labyrinths

·       Experience how walking these meditative paths can provide you with huge psychological benefits

·       Try finger labyrinths and learn to draw your own

·       Walk both an indoor and outdoor labyrinth, including creating a candle-lit labyrinth in the snow together

Included in your fee:

·       An evening of expert guidance from highly trained eco-therapy facilitators at your pre-retreat workshops

·       Forest Bathing and Eco-therapy workshops (nature-based mindfulness practices)

·       Both Conservation Site fees and accommodation costs included

·       Meals and snacks that meet all your dietary needs

·       Access to borrowed gear and clothing

·       Post-retreat debrief and celebration evening

You can expect:

·       A silent retreat escape

·       Trek across Narrow Lake before the thaw

·       Experience sustained positive solitude in nature and all its benefits

·       Return home with a deeper understanding of yourself, major insights, and feel more rested

·       Gain eco-therapy and forest bathing skills

You will need:

·       All items on the Pack List (bedding, weather appropriate clothing, small gear items eg. a flashlight)

·       Transportation to and from the retreat, 2 hours away from Edmonton, AB
