Contact Emberwood if your organization, church, camp or group would like to…

  • start a new summer camp or day camp

  • create a themed week at an existing camp (e.g. trans camper week, eco-therapy week)

  • learn how your camp or organization can become accessible to sexual and gender minority folks

  • get advice and feedback on existing materials and policies regarding your 2SLGBTQ inclusion

As a mother of two gender non conforming youth I wanted a safe, fun place for camp! We needed to find someone who would treat all campers with respect and dignity, and to encourage campers to be their authentic selves. I found that person in AJ! AJ is knowledgeable, compassionate and FUN! I could not have asked for a better partner to start Camp Caterpillar!
